Spent a couple of hours on the gaming floor. Sure, Monday nights are quiet, but never in my life have I felt so unwanted and in everyone’s road. Genuinely pathetic — the woman accompanying me was visiting from abroad and openly laughing at the state of it. Truthfully, I was embarrassed.
The recent renovation at The Ville isn’t really working for me. Being a regular here, the Magnetic Room meant a lot — a calmer, tucked-away area suited to anyone wanting a peaceful session, particularly older guests and those wagering bigger amounts. If the current arrangement is permanent, a few fixes would go a long way: lift the music slightly, bring in extra lounge chairs for people waiting on meals or mates, and put additional privacy dividers between the machines. Members’ drink delivery has also gone downhill, with team members frequently looking confused about the process. And the Vantage Rewards tier credits remain murky — not at all transparent from a member’s perspective.
