Went along to this venue three separate times this year and walked away unhappy on each occasion. Drinks were a constant letdown — soda water gone flat, limes left unsqueezed, cocktails botched (a mate of mine sent hers back twice). The bar team moves at a crawl, and the Atrium Bar cycles through the identical playlist endlessly. Budget nearly an hour of queuing before anything reaches your hand. Saturday nights are shocking. During the week the place is dead.
Spotless, apart from the bathrooms lol, quality facilities everywhere, solid spread of pokies plus tables (MORE $2.50 BUY IN TABLES PLEASE, ONLY EVER A COUPLE RUNNING WHILE EVERY OTHER PRICE POINT IS OPEN.. CALL ME A TIGHTARSE BUT NOT EVERYONE’S LOADED LOL) drinks cost way too much given what this place rakes in.. still, hard to argue with a $12 steak n chips and the $2 salad add-on. the Dorset could do with a scrub, the star punches above its price and the darling is pure high roller territory 👌
Pokies and roulette are my thing and I’m at my club every week … it’s how I unwind once the working week’s done … gave this casino another shot after staying away six years … nice vibe .. clean .. but hopeless for smokers .. after two hours standing at roulette battling to keep my spot at the table I head out for a sit and a couple of durries … nowhere to sit .. two chairs for 20 people … rediclous… a bare sterile floor, a pair of seats and some ashtrays .. I like my smokes and I’ll only back venues that cater for us … twin towns gets my roulette money from now on… very welcoming for smokers with lovely greenery all around u… sorry casino, that’s my thousand each week u’re missing…. the chair situation was already bad when I walked away 6 years back …. nothing’s changed
