Decent venue, enjoyed the baccarat and blackjack. A bigger win would’ve bumped my opinion higher!

Christian on blazing blackjack Monday the 12th of Jan was brilliant. He walked two complete beginners through everything with total patience. Absolute legend of a bloke — promote him immediately.
The gaming floor feels open and bright, a clear step up from the old Treasury, as you’d anticipate. Every staff member was lovely and the dealers brought good banter, exactly what you’d want. Parking worked brilliantly — the lift drops you right at the entrance on the gaming level. Can’t comment on the hotel or the dining since I skipped both. Now the downsides….. wayfinding is poor; finding the loos and the cashier took real effort at first. And that enormous pillar planted directly before the cashier doesn’t do anyone favours.
What a letdown. Hands down the least welcoming gaming venue I’ve set foot in. It felt like standing inside a converted farm shed pretending to be a casino. None of the warmth or elegance of the previous place, which I used to visit all the time. Barely any affordable tables either — not everybody has a spare thousand to burn in an afternoon. No wonder the finances are in trouble. Won’t be going back.
Beyond the location, it was just okay. The pokies feel old. Cash could only be loaded in hundreds or twenties. It’s a trek to reach the food court, the ATMs and the cashier. The lovely woman at the membership desk was a genuine help — probably the reason I’m being generous. Why is the interior colour scheme just beige?? Brought my elderly mum and dad along and we got completely turned around. Honestly a maze in there. So much walking. Staff were kind and willing to help, which was the upside. Parking costs a fortune, and the U-turn route into the carpark past the hotel entrance really needs rethinking. Sorry, but fairly underwhelming. At least the view saves it.
