Hardly the biggest gaming venue on earth, yet everything is arranged nicely and there’s loads to keep you busy. The roulette wheel was a particular favourite of mine!
Charming small venue featuring several gorgeous dining spots and bars where nothing blocks your sight of the sun dropping over the water. Heaps of room to park, plus there’s a sweet little function area on the grass beside the sand. The pool zone is pleasant with plenty of space to spread out.
That infinity pool was a highlight — helped that it was Easter weekend with a DJ playing, and the crew running it were brilliant. Dining inside the complex is decent, nothing extraordinary, though a reliable pick when you can’t be bothered heading out. Where the place falls short is the gaming itself, particularly the table selection. Pokie fans will be sorted since there’s an endless sea of them. All up I’d happily book here again on another Darwin trip, and apart from the thin choice of tables I had no real gripes.
Well, back again with another one Headed to the Darwin casino alongside some mates for my first ever look and left really let down Strolled through, glanced about and walked out Didn’t part with a single cent Just one roulette wheel running plus a couple of blackjack/flush tables — everything else was pokies and digital screens Nothing more on offer Then learned this venue sits under Sky city ownership (same mob as Adelaide) which explained a lot Sky, seriously, you must do better Really deflating I’ve now ticked off every casino across Australia (bar Canberra — checking who owns that first) and won’t be returning to Adelaide Or the Darwin ones either Had genuinely been keen for this trip Silver lining I suppose — my wallet stayed full D-
