Came in for a Saturday feed. Wasn’t a great outing. Struggled to get anyone’s attention, then waited close to an hour for the meals. Hardly anyone around either. The fish in the fish and chips was tiny, and the burger was passable at best.
Spacious, spotless rooms. Front desk runs around the clock. Everyone working there is welcoming and goes out of their way to assist. Most of what we ate came from the restaurant or via room service and it was lovely. The letdown is the parking area — anyone from the public can enter it, and it can be a hike back to your room. Not pleasant finding locals loitering near your vehicle. The pool is a beautiful spot to unwind, with a cafe doing drinks and bites, and there’s a shady garden for sitting too.
Wonderful spot for a stay. Every staff member is warm, obliging and genuinely kind. Facilities are top-notch — a proper gym, fantastic pools including a spa, and a poolside eatery that makes everything so relaxing. Snacks and meals from the pool shop taste great and cost very little. Weekends draw a crowd, yet room never runs out, and fellow guests are courteous and friendly, giving the whole pool area a lively, happy energy. We’ll absolutely be booking another visit. An awesome time all round.
Rude staff — got knocked back at the door and ordered to go change, despite having on a buttoned dress shirt, trousers and clean boots. Once I’d swapped outfits and made it in, other punters were walking around in grubby jumpers, trackie pants, thongs and slippers. Rang the front desk to check the dress rules and got told casual was acceptable. Tried lodging a complaint over how I was treated and nobody gave a damn. Prices are steep too — $8.50 for a mid-strength schooner, $13.50 for a hard solo. Won’t be back. Can’t recommend it either.
